Storm season ready

Storm damage? We handle the insurance side.

After a hurricane or hailstorm, the paperwork matters as much as the roof. We document the damage, photograph everything, and give your insurer exactly what they need.

Storm damage repair

How a claim actually moves

  1. 1 Call us first. After wind or hail, call us before you file — or right after. We document the roof while the damage is still obvious.
  2. 2 Inspect & photograph. We shoot the roof, attic stains, gutters and surrounding trees so the file matches what the adjuster will look for.
  3. 3 We talk to the adjuster. You should not have to argue over missing shingles. We meet the adjuster on site when it helps the claim.
  4. 4 Repair to code. Once the claim is moving, we tarp if needed, then repair or replace to current Florida code — not a patch that fails in the next squall.

What you should do tonight

  • Keep people off a damaged roof — walking it can void coverage and make leaks worse.
  • Take phone photos of rooms, ceilings and the yard. We handle the detailed roof shots.
  • Call us for a tarp if you have an active leak. Do not wait on the insurer to send a crew.

FAQ

Straight answers

Do I call my insurer or you first?
Call us if the roof is leaking or you can see missing shingles. We document first so the claim starts with evidence, then you (or we) open the claim.
Will I still owe a deductible?
Yes. Your policy deductible is yours to pay. We do not hide that, and we do not inflate the scope to 'cover' it.
Can we stay in the house?
Usually yes. If there is a live leak we tarp the same day so you are not living under a bucket. We will tell you straight if it is not safe.
Is a tarp a permanent fix?
No. A tarp stops water. Replacement or a proper repair is what closes the claim and keeps the next storm from opening the same hole.
